We recently completed the installation of a brand-new wet room for a client in Broadclyst, just outside Exeter. The aim was to replace an old, tired bathroom with a clean, spacious walk-in wet room that feels calm, modern and easy to use every day.
To create a larger, more open space, we knocked out the dividing wall between the toilet and bathroom, merging the two into one spacious, open-plan room.
Rather than boxing in the space with a standard shower screen or tray, we created a fully open, level-access wetroom. The floor is sloped gently towards a low-profile linear drain, so the whole area is completely step-free and waterproof. A great look, and one that’s far simpler to keep clean than a cramped, boxed-in shower.
